Done !

A few days ago I finished my babyquilt !! I decided to quilt it with a clamshell pattern. It is a very easy and quick pattern to do.I used a 100% cotton for the batting and after finishing it I washed the quilt to give a real cozy look. The baby can come :c) I am ready for it .. Now only rest a picture from my new nephew or niece in the cradle !

That was a very nice quilt for your niece/nephew to sleep under. How do you mark the clamshells in a easy way? Your handquilting is excellent.

Hi Lucy, the baby quilt looks wonderful! Very old and comfortable..I like that. The clam shells are great, last night I was quilting them too, on a little amish quilt..*VBS* It's an overall design I like alot, goes faster than fans..*S*

I like how the clamshell pattern works up. The quilt is lovely, now just to see the baby in it !
Hope the wait is not too long.

Lucy it looks wonderful! I've been thinking of trying clamshells on something! I love how your little baby quilt looks! I love how cotton batting makes the quilts look after you wash them! It is adorable!

I am catching up on your blog!! I LOVE how the clamshells look on the baby quilt..it is PERFECT! And the small bullseye quilt...I love it! I love the hearts in the center. I've never pieced one before...and yes, I think you can machine quilt this one, it is small! You know what to do with the dog feets now :c)

You have been busy while I have been gone!

I liked that baby quilt when you had the top done and it is even prettier now that the quilting is done!! I really like the clamshell- and the cotton batting will be soft and comfy for new baby. Did you let your brother know the baby can now come? I know what you mean about machine quilting- My first one was painful, too. And a mess. Yours still looks nice. It is very pretty, even if you aren't happy with the quilting.
