Oh! The new little machines are SO CUTE...and yes, I had to laugh about you not starting a new project...as soon as I say that I am NOT going to start anything new...I know I am doomed to start! I am having a hard time staying with the customer quilts, and not piecing on my own project right now.

I like how you rearranged your blog backgrounds! :c)

Oh you are SO LUCKY! I LOVE those toy machines! I found one last week at an atique store and wanted it so bad but it was soooo expensive I couldn't do it! Your 2 new babies are gorgeous!

And I'll be staying just down the drive from you at the cabins! Your staying at the same place we do!

Oh, I'm so happy for you, Lucy !
What a GREAT project ! Now, on to fill you money box for that moment!
I can't wait seeing the nice pictures you will bring back....

Your sewing machines are beautiful ! I'm desperately trying to find a Singer Featherweight (in good working state) here in Belgium, but.... no luck ! There are some on sale on E-Bay, but all of them are located in the U.S., imagine how much would it cost to have them sent to Belgium ! (sigh).......
Hugs and smiles,
NADINE

Great little machines Lucy ! You are going to have to build a room on your house for your machines, or wait until your children are married and turn their bedrooms into sewing rooms.

As Dawn notes above, we'll be just down the lane from you at Big Bear Resort. It's a lovely setting in the woods, overlook the marina on Kentucky Lake. When someone who hasn't made the trip to Paducah before asks us for advice on how much spending money to bring, we always say, "Bring ten thousand dollars, because you will want to buy EVERYTHING you see!" And, by the way, they have a UPS shipping station in the convention center for shipping your purchases home. Or, if you can't bear to part with them, you do what an acquaintance does . . . ships home her dirty laundry!
