I want to let you all know that I am still alive :-). The snow has melted and today was a sunny day ..... MMMM spring?
I am working on an appliqué quilt. It is a sample for a class I am going to teach in Amsterdam. I don't want to show my progress at this time, because I know that some members of the group take a peek so now and then at my blog... There must be some surprises left ;-)
I can tell you that I am very satisfied with the result so far !! I can't stop working on it!It is so fun to do. After 3 March I will show you the whole quilt.

I love needle turn applique. Can't wait to see it all!
How dare you showing us something so tiny we have to use a lot of imagination to picture the rest!
Well I expect we just have to wait!
I guess we can see your sampler once it is presented to class?
Send some melting weather here please - we are 7-8 weeks away from spring.
How's the applique coming along, Lucy? It looks beatiful -- the tiny bit you've shown.
Have an awesome day! Happy stitching!
I love applique on anything. I'm looking forward to seeing the whole quilt!
Your needle turn is flawless, also my favorite form of applique. Can't wait to see the whole quilt, good luck on teaching your group.
I love photos with details. Waiting to see the whole block. And the whole quilt.
The quilt has good aspect. I wait for the finished work.
It seems like you use a very long needle and tiny pins. Some useful tips would be great.
Lovely work! Add me to the list waiting to see the whole thing.
Love the colors - very classic.
I do love to hand applique. I need to get busy with a new project. Your photo has inspired me.
I am waiting for march.
It looks like a nice bright quilt to chase away the winter blues.
I can't wait to see this quilt complete. Hope your class goes well.
