USA 9

Next day we went to the rotaryclub.
There was a show from the collection of Gerald Roy. He showed his antique star quilts .
I think they don't need words......
Take a look by yourself :-)

This collection is wonderful. Any chance of getting some history on these quilts? Wish I could have been there :-)

So many beautiful quilts, so much inspiration! When are we going to make all these quilts. It is so hard to say which one I like best. But I think the more feathered stars I see, the more I want to make one! Thanks for sharing. Take care.

He has such a great quilt collection. When I was in Lowell last year there was rumor of his having a book coming out but when I spoke with him he said it was on hold. The publisher didn't think there was a market for it. If you ever have a chance to hear him speak he is very very knowledgeable and nice.

Both these and the ones in your last post are so beautiful. I am so glad you are showing us your journey step by step, rather than selecting just a few things to show us. Everything looks wonderful, and I am enjoying going to Paducah with you!
