Playing with a small cutter piece

Bonnie didn't only give me the table topper. She also gave me the last piece of her cutter quilt. She thought I could do something nice with it. She was right! Look I made a sewing case and a pincushion. Isn't it nice :-) I am going to take a look at eBay for quilt cutters too. It is a lot of fun to play with.

What a wonderful little needle book. I am in an upcoming needle book swap and was trying to decide what to make. If I can find and old cutter in time, I may try something like this. I love finding ways to keep these old quilts around.

Thanks for sharing your ideas and projects.

I love your needle book! I have some cutter quilts stored away. I need to pull them out and put them to use so they can be enjoyed. Thanks for the nudge!

Oh how fun -- but no matter how bad the condition of the quilt, I'm not sure I would have the courage to actually cut into one!!!
