Christmas mini

Last week it was my birthday and to me it is a 'happy birthday' when I can sew the whole day :-) I made this little mini Christmas quilt. I am inspired by bloggers like Libby , Judy ,and Nancy , who have more of a Folk-art style. Something I love very much. So I bought more woven plaids and started this mini. I found this little adorable sheep pattern in 301 Country Christmas quilt blocks . A great book! It was such fun to let the block grow into a mini. Plaids are definitely different to sew. I'm happy with the result. For sure you will find more folk-art quilts from me in future :-))

Lucy - that is the sweetest little lamb. You have found my favorite book. I keep it handy all year long to thumb through the pages.

Ooh oooh ooh that is so cute! I really love your wall of little quilts. I'm too scared to make tiny quilts because your mistakes show up so bad, but yours look fantastic!

Happy Belated Birthday!

My birthday was on the 13th. The children and I spent the day baking and making Jewel's clam chowder recipe.

Have a wonderful day!

I love your wall of mini's and this new addition is very cute.

I also like primitive quilts but am not very good at achieving it myself. I did play around with randomly cutting out some trees for postcards that I kind of liked.
