Triangle Treat

Don't you think this is one of the best part of quilting :-) A finished quilt!

It became a quilt with memories. I did a lot of quilting next to my dad in his last weeks. It was emotional for me to pick it up again. But I am so happy I finished it.

Hand quilted

It's a great quilt. I love the "blue sky" in the background that allow the colors to POP out!
The memories tied to it will be priceless.

I LOVE your triangle quilt! The fabrics you have chosen give it an "old quilt" look, which I love. The memories it brings you will be a great reminder of great times.

that a beautiful quilt, lucy. My sister made a similar one when our mum was dying and I now have that quilt. It is also a triangle quilt.

Lovely quilt, Lucy. Don't you love the texture that hand quilting gives? Just begs the hand to be run over it. Great work.

Yes, the best part is definitely finishing. There is no better part of quilting. This is a very beautiful quilt.

Congratulations on making it into a magazine. It is definitely a thrill to find yourself in print. I will look for the article when my copy of McCalls Quilting arrives at my local magazine shop.
