Oh lucy it is just beautiful and I am so proud of you doing the borders! I have been putting off doing them I know it will be a challenge with all those seams! Kathie
I can't imagine being able to create a quilt like this - and certainly not in this time frame! All I can say is "WOW, Lucy!". I'm looking forward to seeing it all quilted and bound. After I see Pim's quilt completed, of course! ;o) And do I see a crocus and some snowdrops pushing up in your garden? Come on spring!
Oh, My! Lucy, You are so quick! and this quilt is SO gorgeous!!! Congratulations for finishing top. I'm anxious to see what kind of quilting designs that you'll use for this quilt. :-)
It is fantastic Lucy, and it is done. I am still trying to finish mine. It just seems that something always seems to be coming up to prevent me from being able to sew. Maybe today. I hope that mine will be as beautiful as yours.
It's beautiful. I love those nice bright colors with the red border & from what I can see you did a perfectly AMAZING job of matching up all those corners !!
Te gek en zo snel, echt heel snel. Vind hem super, dat een quilt van vierkantjes zo mooi kan zijn. Als je er naar kijkt word je er helemaal vrolijk van. (ik wel tenminste)
Lucy, What an inspiration for me to start mine! I rushed out and bought the magazine as soon as I saw the first picture of this quilt on your site. Unfortunately, mine will have to wait as I work on another quilt for MY son! Have a blessed weekend, and enjoy your new accomplishment! Mary
Oh Lucy! It is lovely! This has never been one of my favorite patterns, but you and the other talented quilters making it are starting to convince me. Thank you for widening my perspective. It is truly striking seen from afar!! And if I might add up close your piecing is immaculate! u
Lucy, you are a speedy and gifted quilt-top maker! Wow, it's beautiful and so colorful! Where will you be putting this lovely quilt? I would make a nice wall-hanging. Just beautiful!
Hi Lucy!: I'm Izaskun, a spanish girl. I have seen your blog trough other blogs. It's fantastic! Your family is lovely, your holidays are funny and your quilts are really wondreful! I'm learning patchwork since one month, I love it! I'll visit you again, do you mind? Lot of kisses from Pamplona (Spain)!: Izas:) PD: Sorry if my English isn't very good!:( Visit me!
Hi Lucy, I've just discovered your blog (I was visiting Bonny's Blog and I was "directed" to yours)and I just wanted to say that your quilts are fabulous! The colors of your Mennonite Mosaic are great! I am from the Netherlands (my parents live in Haarlem) and I have been living in Chappaqua, NY for the past 2.5 years. I started quilting almost two years ago and I love it. I will be back soon on your blog! Regards, Linda
Lucy, again, this is really lovely and you inspired me to try this, but i only made one medallion for a baby quilt, as didn't have enough fabrics. My colors etc are also not quite true to this pattern, but you can see it on my blog. Also loved working with such happy colors.
