Weeks ago I saw this awesome mini tumbler on Lea's blog. I love it so much. She was inspired by Kathie, and so do I.
Well, when I opened my – still neat ;-) - closet for fabrics, my eye already moved to cut tumblers given by Dawn and Kathie.
Hé, that's easy. I only had to put them together, and I was distracted…
So on a pretty rainy Sunday I sewed them together, quilted and bound it. Before bedtime it was finished! Yeah maybe that's why I like minis so much.
-Finished size: 12,5 x 9,5 inch (32 x 24 cm.)
-Fabrics: 100% cotton
-Batting: 100% cotton. (I wish I know which one. It's a sample Bonnie sent me years ago. It is so thin and easy to quilt.)
-Machine pieced
-Hand quilted

For the quilting, did you "just" do horizontal rows above the base of the tumblers?
Just wondering - I am doing mine stitch in the ditch.
I can see why you love mini's! It's a cute little quilt!
I love that quilt. I have that on my list of "to do" mini's as well. I doubt if I will get mine done in a day though.
That is so precious! I've been wondering what you have been up to!

Sweet mini. It looks fun to make. It is on my quilts-to-do list! Will you put it with Faithy?
I just love your mini quilts - I straight away pictured your lovely wall of mini quilts and this one will be perfect! I have admired the tumblers on Kathi's banner for ages too - but kept thinking ooooh time consuming. Now I shall try a mini one like yours!
A very sweet and cheerful mini quilt Lucy!
Never made a mini, I will put it on my wish-list!
Absolutely marvelous!
I love your quilting too. It's very plain but add charming character into this quilt.
Great work, Lucy!
Very sweet! I know this quilt is hiding in my scrap basket. I love little quilts because they work up so quickly.
Hartstikke leuk quiltje! En idd afgelopen zondag was een prima dag om te "prullen" zoals wij dat noemen. Ben overigens nog steeds wel heel erg nieuwsgierig naar je "paarse" project!
Love your sweet tumbler quilt! That type of quilt is on my list of quilts to make.
A beautiful mini quilt, Lucy. What a perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon!
I'm so glad you shared the fruits of your labor with us!

Oh how I love the mini's so much. Did you hand sew these or by machine? Just wondering if that can be done by machine. I'd like to try it.
I LOVE it! But you knew that!
Very Beautiful great job.
Oh, my goodness. What a great day's work! You did it so fast.

Love it!! Cutest mini quilt!
What size are your tumblers before you sewed them together? Did you have a pattern? This is on my to do list.
Lovely! Only a day, I'm not able to choose the fabrics in only a day!
