This is the last week of school for my children, they are looking forward to their summer break.
I have been blogging since 2005 and I think it's time for a (summer blog) break for mom too. I promise to come back in August, fresh and new. I hope to show you some finished quilts, some new projects, home made soap,knitting and wonderful stories.

I think all of us need to take a break sometimes and step back and enjoy our kids while they are still at home.
Patty and I were talking about that a few weeks ago...
I just may do the same take the month of July off at least...

I am missing your posts but am enjoying your old
ones. Your previous posts and quilts will have to
do until your return. Your quilts are good to look
at again and again. Relax and refresh and rejuevenate.

I am basically a beginning quilter, although I have made a number of projects in the last ten years. I need to get better. I love it, but I have two small children, so time to do it is somewhat limited. I stumbled on your blog from another in the Quilt Mavericks, and wanted to leave a comment. I am hoping to get the courage up to post some of my work on my blog. Maybe when you are back to blogging I will have something up. I would love input, if you have a chance to check it out.
