Ta daahh.. here it is, my finished doll quilt.
I love the backing fabric. It reminds me to my trip to Paducah last year.
I've made these little quilts with the tiniest little squares I cut from my scraps. It has been a lot of fun playing with these squares.

LOVE your latest quilt, I agree the backing fabric is wonderful. Isn't that nice that it will bring back memories when you look at it.
oh this makes me realize I need to save all my little squares from now on!!!
and they are all hand quilted....perfect.
beautiful work. I'm in awe of those little squares!
I love them :) They are way to cute !!!
All of your tiny quilts are just adorable, Lucy!
Isn't it fun to be reminded of a special occasion...by the fabric in a quilt!
Works of art they are!
Makes me feel guilty. Your tin full of love clearly resembles my wastecan. I need to reconsider in these economic times.
Your little quilts are beautiful!
What a lovely little quilt!
Treasures.
Adorable quilts.
Hello Lucy,
All your quilts with those tiny squares look great! Must be fun making them. They are gorgeous!
Have a nice week & greetings, Carolien
What a darling little quilt, and what a nice fabric - nice just for itself, but also for the memories.
You have such great color choices, very individual and satisfying.
I love that these little quilts are memory holders for you...they are lovely.
Lovely quilts Lucy !!
Yes Lucy, you have inspired me to keep even the tiniest little squares that I might have tossed out before! I grabbed one of my little tins and started pulling pieces as I cut. one day soon I'll have enough for one of my own!
Yours is just lovely and the hand quilting makes it perfect!
What size are you tiny squares? I have made a postage stamp quilt with 1 1/2 inch squares so they would be 1 inch after sewn - these look smaller and wonder if they are.
It is a cute little quilt!

Beautiful little quilts, Lucy !
These are so beautiful! I am going to start making more doll quilts. I just love how they look. This is so inspiring!
Your doll quilt is very pretty. I love all your mini quilts. I'm afraid those little pieces would drive me crazy, my eyes aren't that good. When I was younger though I would have loved it!
Gorgeous little quilts!! I love them. I'm also curious -- how large are your little squares. They look bigger than 1" to me.
I am inspired to go through my large stash and make adorable doll quilts. Thank you for posting them, They are truly beautiful and they put a smile on my face.
Oh my gosh Lucy, adorable! You just have the patience of a saint when it comes to making your quilts with those little micro pieces!
I love them all ! It makes me want to start one right now... when it's in fact time to go to bed.
I was wondering as well about the size of the little squares ? I love little scraps, I have an Ikea plastic box full of 3 cm pieces, so when they're sewn they finish at 2 cm. Fun.
I´m in love..they are all so wonderful...:o)
Lovely job...makes me want to dig out my little scraps and get sewing.
ALL your quilts are simply gorgeous! You use color so well!
So beautiful. I've kept all my little scraps, just not took the time to put them together.
Oh my goodness! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them! The main doll quilt with the green though is sooo goreous! and all the little ones are so fun! Lucy I just love them! 5 more days and you get to see whats in your silly packages!
Miniature quilts are my absolute favorite. Those are adorable. You did a great job. Do you sew them together by hand?

So wonderful!!! I love your doll-quilts.
They are just so wonderful! It's almost magical to find those little quilts inside a little tin of scraps *s*
These are just adorable! The fabrics are so great. It is so much fun to play with fabric. They will make a nice addition to your wall of minis.
Lucy, these are beautiful, each in its own way.
Eve says hello!

I just love your small quilts! Are they 1/2 inch finished squares? I tried to make one like yours but it came out very large in comparison. I used 1" finished squares. Love your work.

Que bonito te ha quedado
Wonderful!
Hi Lucy, These little quilts are just incredible! I can't get over the size of the tiny squares you are using. Hardly big enough to see when one is holding them in one's fingers. I so wish I could see these little ones in person. Now we know what you've been doing while waiting for a package from me.
Please don't give up - I'm so sorry you don't have it yet. This is my third week straight of baby sitting Joseph every day - they are really sick at his other grandma's house. It's totally thrown me for a loop and I've been accomplishing next to nothing. Packaging up the fabric would be fast - it's making the CD to go along with it that's holding me back. Hopefully after today I'll be done baby sitting for at least a couple weeks so I can catch up and get things back to normal. Believe me - I've not forgotten about you!
Is it OK if I save your pictures for inspiration? I certainly won't copy your creations - I just want to be able to see them whenever I want. I may start tossing little pieces of reproductions into a basket for quilts such as these.
Hi Lucy
Love your quilts and please don't laugh I am going to make mine queensize.
cheers
Christine
You can be sure --- I am drooling over these adorable doll quilts! Lucy, as I have said before --- you must write a book!!!!!
