Today I finished my feathered star. It's a complicated but oh such a lovely block. I'm making a sampler with different size blocks which I can use for a few of my classes. The feathered star is a workshop I teach and the other blocks are a part of a sampler class. I can use the appliqué blocks for my appliqué class as well. This is a start; I will make more blocks and complete it with fillers like, flying geese, windmills, squares and others.

That quilt is going to be stunning! I really love all the pieced blocks! I also like how you put up a sheet on the bookcase and pinned your blocks to that! I had never thought of doing that. Thanks for the idea!

Oh I love that feathered star! The sampler is looking so wonderful Lucy, I must try one of these one day! I have loads of blocks left over. I wish I could take the feathered star class from you, I've never attempted one.
Deze sampler is erg mooi al! Ik hou van sampler die een beetje van alles zijn. Heb zelf ook een paar gemaakt. Een uitdaging om te maken maar snoepgoed voor onze ogen als ze klaar zijn!

All the blocks look so pretty together on your design wall. The feathered star looks perfect. It looks like a difficult piecing project.
