Spring fever has hit here and I am enjoying spending lots of time outside, running and of course taking pictures.
Today I took some solids from my stash. I want to make a small lonestar. Think solids are perfect for this.
I hope to show you my progress coming week!

Ambitious - doing a lone star. Check out http://quiltobsession.blogspot.com/ for some lone star/colour inspiration (in case you need some.)
Such beautiful fabrics. I've been wanting to make a lone star, too. Selected the fabrics, but got sidelined by some more pressing (baby quilt) projects. Now I may just have to rethink the idea and find some solids *s*
Solids are on my future list of things to play with...maybe this year! Can't wait to see what turns out!
Yummy Amish colors in there!

That will be a colourful star. It's going to look wonderful. It's good you are making the most of the weather.
I have been missing you. I know you have been very busy. Spring has sprung here in California. Getting out of doors is my DH and my favourite thing to do right now. He has been making raised planting beds in out backyard, Everything is ready for planting.
Something knew since we last chatted - I have started my own blog. Please check it out when it is convenient and I would love for you to become a follower :0)

Such pretty colors, I will look forward to seeing your creation!
The solids are so wonderful! Especially if you are going to hand quilt....think about quilting them with black thread! I love how antique it makes it look... :c)
Miss you!
