Oh, you are so lucky !!! It must have been a marvellous trip, and you got to meet Gwen Marston... in my next life I would like to be you !!;-)
The pictures are gorgeous. I think there is a photo of you photographing the pumpkins on Bonnie's blog !
Good luck with jetlag. It's always more difficult for the trip back (I've heard it from people who have travelled either way !!)
Wonderful pictures! Professional photography. What a treat!
Such a beautiful way to begin and end each day. Love the old school houses.
This trip was so wonderful! It's great to look at your pictures and relive the moments of "thelma and louise" driving down the road!
My only regret is that we forgot to take a picture of us TOGETHER!!!
Take it easy on the jetlag, I know I will be feeling it in a week when I go to Paris....
*hugs*
Bonnie

Hi Lucy,
My great grandfather Diekevers built many schoolhouses in that part of Michigan about the years on those cupolos--I will ask my mother if she knows if any of these is his.
Lynn
Lucy, I found your blog as I was wandering around on the internet and SURPISE! You have pictures of my backyard, so to speak! I live right in this area, in Charlevoix. I have never gone to Gwen's retreat but I think I need to go next year. I have taken classes from her and she is SO talented! Glad to hear you enjoyed the trip! Come back soon :)
I love these pictures. My mother grew up in Charlevoix, and I recognize many of these pictures. I spent many summers, and holidays in this area, and I love it there. Your pictures are beautiful, and they really capture this wonderful place. :)
