I made progress on my Jacob's ladder quilt. I love working with a two color combination block. Each block is becoming such a beauty! Each one I make I think is better than the last one and I loved the last one. All together they are making a beautiful quilt. My goal is to finish this top in a few weeks.
This little cross stitch project is becoming a little pinchushion. It is so cute to work on it.

Lovely photos! I am always happy to see a new post from you, Lucy.
It's the same here and freezing. Although it does look beautiful, I think I've had enough.

Beautiful pictures and gorgeous fabrics. Snowy hugs from a smaller part of the world that stands next to yours: Belgium.
Happy New Year Lucy!
Those pictures are gorgeous! I love the world wrapped in snow... when you don]t have to drive..!
We have had a lot of snow lately, as well. But also things like stomach flu bugs and running noses, which makes it practically impossible to dedicate any time to sewing. Too bad... your pictures are inspiring as always ! Your fabrics are gorgeous, and I can't wait to see the finished top. And the cross-stitching... makes me want to do one as well. I have many cross-stitch UFOs hanging around...
What a beautiful white world! I imagine Jospeh would have loved it as well.... ;)
Your Jacob's ladder and stitchery look great.
Have fun and enjoy your weekend. We should have more than enough snow!
beautiful pictures, and beautiful work!
North America and northern Europe are all a winter wonderland these days! I love your Jacobs ladder and have been looking for a tutorial online about this pattern. I am so happy that you are blogging again. I really love the kinds of work you do.
Those are stunning photos lucy, beauty comes at a price, it must be so very cold. We are in a heat wave at the moment, I would happily trade you some degrees. It's lovely to see little peeks of your projects.
Yes, lovely photos. I love two color quilts, and Jacob's Ladders. I am sure it will be stunning! The cross stitch looks very cute!

Love to see your Jacobs ladder's blocks, very pretty fabrics! And beautiful snowy landscape pictures! It is a white winter in my home town, too. For the first time in decades... Vintage quilts and snow, they go together very well, I think... Keep warm!
Happy New Year Lucy!!! It looks so beautiful with the snow. I hope you are able to enjoy it.
Love the Jacob's Ladder blocks. I'm sure it'll be another stunning quilt when it's assembled. I just tried my hand at cross stitch, but it doesn't look as great as yours. So pretty!
Those snow pictures are SO beautiful.
I can't wait to see your Jacob's Ladder quilt done. That is a beautiful simple pattern and it looks so good in the reproduction fabrics you are using.
Everything looks just wonderful... quiltproject... pictures... and the cross stitch... Have fun..:o)
Love your cross stitch...quilting is an interesting pastime and I see more often than never that one who quilts turns to more of stitching in one form or the rather.

Love from Texas! ~bonnie
Wow!...your photos are fantastic and the similar colours connect them all. The snowy ones look like paintings and the little cross stitch is very like the motif in your quilt fabric.
It is so very very hot here, your winter photos are stunning! I truly wish I was there right now. Isn't it lovely to be able to work on several projects at once, whenever we feel like it. Linen and embroidery are made for each other.
Beautiful Pictures! Thanks for sharing.
Your snow scenery is beautiful. I don't think I would mind walking in the cold if our scenery was as nice. Your little blocks are looking wonderful as well.
