~Quilting with the Past~
Love the tiny stitches.....!!Going to be a beauty!
So pretty - I love your pictures :)
This quilt is so beautiful! You have inspired me to create a similar one using my mid-19th century repro fabrics left over from numerous Civil War dressmaking projects.
You inspire me a lot, I've already made one Jacob's Ladder block, 12 inches, is that your size too? And quilting by hand is impressing!
It's going to be a fabulous quilt!Handquilting gives so much more character
Ohh that red print is so pretty. Your tulip quilt Quiltmania article is fabulous, Lucy!
Your Jacob's Ladder is so pretty Lucy, I am also making this quilt but with a beige background and muted tones of plum, brown, pink and a little blue thrown in! I am hand piecing and really enjoying seeing how each block is coming together, will add a photo later today. Your tulip quilt is so beautiful, I am hoping that maybe someone could send me a copy of the Quiltmania mag as we do not get it here in Australia.
Luscious! The fabrics are wonderful. How big is this quilt? Hand quilting amazes me.
Jakob's Ladder is one of my favorite blocks. Looks like you're making great progress in quilting it.
Drooling over these scrumptious colors! I found your blog today and will be back alot more!
This looks like a true gem,it already has an antique look, so cosy and loved.
Lovely picture; gorgeous quilt.
Very pretty. Nice close up photo. Looking forward to seeing the finished project.
The quilt looks very beautiful! Love those fabrics.
You quilt in a large hoop also!?!? I enjoy it this way. Sometimes I'd like a frame I think, but haven't gotten around to getting one. I remember my great grandmother quilting on one w/her sister that hung from the ceiling. They would raise it up after they were finsihed. I have a photo on my blog somewhere back when I first started that shows one... I just finished a hand quilting project, so I'm taking a break. Didn't miss it a bit until I saw this photo. Looks like home to me..... :)
Lovely colors, even prettier photograph. Thanks for sharing.
