I made this doll quilt recently. It was inspired by an antique quilt in the book Childhood Treasures by Merikay Waldvogel. It's a great book with lovely antique doll quilts. It is high on my list of favourite books.
The quilt is nothing 'special', just simple. Something I like very much.

It is darling!!!
So happy to "hear" from you. I love the doll quilt - your fabrics and quilting are wonderful. I was at a Bonnie Hunter workshop last Friday and thought of you. What fun we had.
Very sweet. Did you make the Barbara Buchner quilt from the 1880's and did you draft it yourself or find a pattern to use?? Thanks for your time in answering my question.
Simple is my favorite.

Such an appealing little quilt. The border fabric is especially interesting, and isn't that your pitcher from Texas in the picture?
