Fabrics and a cross stitch

I want to make a blue and white quilt, so of course, I had to order some blues!... and a few other fabrics I couldn't resist. I love how they look together. Maybe nice for a mini??

This weekend I started a small cross stitch project. It is a Stacy Nash pattern. Her style is gorgeous.

Oh yes, those fabrics look great together. Isn't it fun to play around with colors and let them inspire your next quilt?

I love cross stitch when it is just one color of thread on the fabric! This is going to be beautiful!

And new blue fabrics? Always great for inspiration!

mmm mooie stofjes.

I have not purchased any Stacy Nash designs but have drooled over them several times when looking online.

How funny. I went to your dutch blog, then hopped to the Stacy Nash site to get a better look at your pattern. I read her blog and she just got back from Phoenix, which my husband & I visited last fall and are going to visit again next month. We even went to the same quilt store she did. lol Welcome to the small, convoluted world of blogging.

I love your fabric choices. It's going to be really lovely.

Happy quilting,
Susan in Texas

Beautiful fabric colors you have chosen. I love cross-stitchings using only one floss color. Projects that go quickly are what I enjoy the most. The sense of accomplishment. Enjoy! Best wishes, Tammy

I just stubbled across your blog and I love it, and your photos are fabulous. I was a little sad to see that you don't post very often i think it would be a highlight of my day to pictures and the beautiful things you are making.

Lucy, I love Stacy's designs, too. That reminds me I have a couple of kits from her club I still have to finish. I always love looking at other people's fabrics, and seeing what I need to buy!
